So, here's Glenn Beck attacking the FCC and Net Neutrality (the status quo today, where ISPs cannot decide to slow the connection speed to competitor's website, the Net is a dumb pipe- you are able to access your local library as quickly as you can access your university website, Coke or Bank fo America).

Beck: Anyway, you may remember, FreePress is the group pushing for Net Neutrality, which would take the Internet out of the private hands of private business and into the hands of the government. It would create a level playing field. It would help diversity. It would destroy the free market that created the Internet.

Everyone knows that the Internet arose from Arpanet, a government program. Everyeone knows that the guys who gave us HTML were originally researchers in the university. Everyone knows that the telecommunications industry were given a fat plum when they were told how to get into the Internet. The free market has done little for the Internet other than make pop-up ads more annoying than anything.
