... maybe because i'm a grinch, but there's something therapeutic about all the white blankets about me. i love watching my cat nose up to a snowdrift to check if the neighborhood cat Charlie has marked it yet. i love waking up in the morning and seeing ice on our patio door (it's glass). i love all the things about snow, except Christmas itself.

i hate decorations. i hate christmas trees. i hate carrying boxes for no reason at all. i hate all the crap that goes on for christmas in the "sake of family." humbug. waste of time if you ask me (but wait, no one asks me anymore, everyone knows my position).

anyway, i've been listening to the new Evanescence CD. what an amazing album. best thing is, i can listen to it since it's not in the "christian music" section. i hate christian music. nothing but jazzed up hymns and people making money off the Lord. i detest parasites. i'd petition God to become His lawyer for a day and set up lawsuits against the christian music community for impugning God's good name, and making a buck off of it without tithing. Unlike Santa, God does know who's naughty and nice... He just doesn't give out presents. more like plagues and curses. :)
